Dentist BDS, MRACDS, MClinDent (prosthodontics)

Helen is a farmer’s daughter, who came from rural Shropshire in the UK to live in Wagga in 2005. After graduating from Birmingham University, she has worked in a variety of practices and gained extensive experience. She has completed a Masters degree in Prosthodontics with distinction from Kings College London and has also passed exams to enable her membership of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

She enjoys all aspects of dental care, but especially educating her patients in prevention. She feels strongly about this, with research that has now shown oral health to be an important factor in maintaining general health and even helping to prevent some serious systemic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. Her other favourite aspect of dentistry is helping her patients to realise a dream and improve their smiles, gain confidence and become more positive in life.

Helen enjoys frequent opportunities to attend continuing professional development courses, allowing her to keep up to date with the most recent advances in dental care and constantly broaden her knowledge to maintain the highest standards of care to her patients.

Helen is a member of many professional organisations including the Australian Dental Association, British Dental Association and the Australian Prosthodontics Society.

When not working, she enjoys gardening, millinery, music, baking and cycling. On a few occasions, she has made her hat for the Wagga Wagga Gold Cup and her flute playing has enabled her to take part in Wagga community musicals such as 'My Fair Lady' and 'Oliver'.
