Karnie Spalding

Oral Health Therapist / Hygienist BOH

Karnie was born and raised here in Wagga Wagga and joined the Best St Dental team in January 2022.

After finishing secondary schooling at a local high school, Karnie attended Charles Sturt University for 3 years to become an Oral Health Therapist (OHT); graduating in 2021. Karnie decided to stay in Wagga to start her career as many of her family and friends are in the region and she enjoys a slower pace of life.

As an OHT, Karnie focuses on the preventative side of dentistry. Karnie’s role includes treating children and young adults needing preventive care, fillings, and extractions as well as regular cleaning and periodontal care for patients of all ages.

Karnie hopes to ensure all dental visits are an enjoyable and friendly experience.

Outside of being an OHT, Karnie enjoys reading, spending time with her family and friends and travelling.
