After 7 years of travelling and working in remote locations in the UK and Australia, we feel very fortunate that Dr Rubie chose to settle in Wagga! He has loved treating people in rural communities, and enjoyed exploring the beautiful environments and landscapes these remote locations have offered. He has lived, worked and travelled in nearly every state in Australia and has been fortunate to pick up some excellent skills along the way, quite often being the only accessible dentist for hundreds of KMs. 

He is passionate in conservative and aesthetic restorative dentistry, whilst also having a keen interest in oral surgery and endodontics. His approach is to always work closely and frankly with his patients in an open manner, offering and discussing all options to ascertain a bespoke plan for each individual's needs.   

Outside of dentistry, he is a huge fan of travelling and his preferred method of travel is going slow! Whether backpacking, or touring on bicycle or motorbike (with full camping equipment!!) He loves delving into the nature, culture and history of far away cultures and civilisations. He is always the first to take any opportunity to attend overseas Dental courses and conferences which help to keep his knowledge and skills in line with the latest developments. 

He also has a deep interest in sports and self development so when he’s not touring around you can find him on the weekend coaching the local Soccer team, hiking or simply reading a book.
